APPOINTMENTS - COVID19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
  1. ​We provide VIP Services, by appointment only
  2. If you feel unwell the day of your appointment, kindly call to reschedule​ 
  3. Our services are comprehensive which require longer time, kindly plan ahead to enjoy and relax
  4. For your convenience, we offer online booking service, our range of services and available times are at your fingertips
  5. Upon booking, Square will automatically create an account for you with Square Appointments
  6. You can sign in back into ALTA Nails Studio using your mobile number at any time
  7. If you are unable to keep your appointment, kindly Reschedule or Cancel your service using the Booking App, or you can contact us as soon as possible
  8. If you do not find a specific service or time to be booked, do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to assist you and accommodate you
  9. We are a 100% Non Smoking and Non Vaping environment
  10. Niagara Region Public Health Department inspects our premises twice a year, to ensure by laws are accurately followed.   11. For Health and Safety reasons, ALTA Nails Studio reserves the right of refusing servicing if signs of Fungus or Infection are present, as a measure of precaution to avoid spreading and contaminating client own healthy nails, as well as, ALTA Nails Studio clientele

  15. Throughout sanitizing and disinfecting procedures are performed daily, before and after each client visit (all contact areas are covered)
  16. All our tools are cleaned and then treated with High Level Sterilizing Solution and accurate protocols are followed 
  17. All our implements are one use only and they are disposed once service is finalized

CANCELLATIONS
     ALTA Nails Studio Services are private, one-on-one and by appointment only, we strive to accommodate and fully care for each
one of our clients, for this reason we have the following cancellation policy:
  1. In consideration to all our other clients that may be waiting for an earlier appointment, we do require a 24 HOURS CANCELLATION NOTICE, allowing to accommodate the next client on the waiting list.
  2. Kindly plan ahead and reschedule your appointment if you have a new event conflict in your own schedule.
  3. WE DO REQUIRE 48 HOURS CANCELLATION NOTICE FOR ALL "FULL SET OF NAILS EXTENSIONS" APPOINTMENTS, no exceptions.
  4. We do understand emergencies may occur, in this case we highly appreciate if you give as a call or send us a message, as soon is possible for you to notify us.

PARKING AND ACCESS TO THE STUDIO - COVID19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
  1. We have private parking for all our visitors
  2. Kindly note that parking is at own client responsibility
  3. PLEASE BE ADVISED: wearing a clean FACE MASK it is at your own discretion
  4. We will meet you at the glass door to provide hand sanitizer,
  5. Bringing minimal personal belongings it is advised, they have to be placed in our designated area, next to your chair, which have been disinfected prior to your arrival

HYGIENE AND SAFETY IN MANICURE TABLE CHAIR - COVID19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS​
  1. Use of cellphones at the table is not allowed, please plan ahead to limit its use
  2. Some sanitizing procedures require leaving all the areas air dry after use of sanitizing and disinfecting solutions at the end of every service, so some blurry film may be found on top of glass manicure table, curing lamps and chairs and this is an indicative such procedure have been followed. We will have the unpleasant film removed whenever time between services allows
  3. Color Selection will be managed accordingly to avoid cross contamination​


​LONG WEAR POLISHING/ENHANCEMENTS CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  1. DO NOT USE YOUR NAILS AS TOOLS
  2. Our service is performed with the most accurate techniques and protocols followed accordingly to obtain the best desired results, nevertheless your after service care is key, in order to successfully extend the durability and look of your nails
  3. ADVISED: Applying Solar Oil around cuticle area, nail folds and nail plate at bed time, keeps your nails and cuticles flexible and hydrated (Acts as a blocking agent avoiding your nail plate from absorbing water, expanding and shrinking, which is the cause of nail dehydration)
  4. Use Nitrile gloves while washing dishes, cleaning and/or in contact with solvents and detergents
  5. Use proper gloves when gardening
  6. Plan your visits for manicure regularly if wearing Shellac or Gel enhancements
  7. Get Shellac, Gel, Acrylic removed by ALTA Nails Studio always
  8. If no time for professional enhancement removal, ask your Nail Technician how to safely do it yourself
  9. Call your ALTA Nails Studio immediately if the enhancement has chipped or lifted (within 72 hours can be fixed at no charge; after 48 hours your ALTA Nails Studio will evaluate a small fee for the repair, if applicable).
  10. We perform every service with the most accuracy and we customize the gel formulas that better fit your nails condition, however issues may rarely present withing a week, as some natural nails may cause lifting or reject product naturally. If this is the case, a service repair should be booked and we will determine if a small charge or a full charge is required.
  11. While product chipping or lifting at the free edges or corners of the nail are caused by clients wear (i.e.: using nails as tools, soaking in water, etc.) and/or clients nail condition, lifting at the cuticle area are not adequate product adhesion, deemed to be a service breakdown. If the issue is reported within 6 days, repairs will be free of charge.
  12. Avoid at all costs Picking or Pulling lifted enhancement
  13. Avoid at all costs Filing, Buffing or Scraping on your natural nail plate
  14. Keeping enhancements longer time that recommended by Alta Nails Studio, even if they look well, it is not recommended for multiple reasons
  15. During Gel application service, client is required to keep both hands on the table at all times once nail deep cleansers and primers are applied, as gel is sensitive to lint and debris contamination, causing un-accurate results, for this reason ALTA kindly reminds to please plan ahead to be able to stay away from texting on cellphones or manipulating clothes

TIPS AND TRICKS FROM ALTA NAILS STUDIO
  1. Bitten Nails consequences can be effectively corrected by a proper manicure and an adequate enhancement can be applied to stop the disorder
  2. If keeping natural nails is your desire, there are some effective professional treatment products that can be purchased at ALTA Nails Studio
  3. If doing regular nail polishing at home, always apply a base coat before the application of the color lacquer/polish
  4. Avoid asking for Artificial Nails, the adhesive used will damage the whole nail plate, therefore ALTA Nails Studio does not provide this kind of technique
  5. We carry a Healthier choice of Artificial Nails made of GEL using also Gel as an adhesion agent, for nail biters
  6. Gel Sculpting on Forms will be always preferred, unless natural nail plates are extremely short, in which case the extension or repair service will be discussed before application
  7. If it is powder and liquid, then it is not gel. Do not get fooled
